Does anyone have some good reliable links that deal with the united states neo-colonialism in latin america?
Would be of great help as I am writing an essay on the topic.
Cuba+Chile are going to be some of my stronger examples so any specific facts+info on the two countries and the US's involvement are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance people

Guatamala...the US supported a military coup against the democratically elected Jacob Arbenz because he might have endangered the interests of United Fruit (aka Chiquita Bananas aka The Green Octopus)

go to the national security archives, which is administrated by George Washington Unv., there you'll find all the info you could possibly want. I just got done writing a paper about Guatemala and Chile for a poly sci class.

I did a paper on the exact same subject.
I focused on Chile, Guatemala, and Nicaragua, I believe.
