When was Che really born!?!

Many books say different things about Che's birth date. Some say he was born on the 14 of June, others on May.... Why did Che's mother did this, did she have an affair, why did she cover it up?

I remember his mom "changed" the date of birth of Che because of some zodiac thingie...Im not 100% sure on that though,

Yeh it says 14th of June in the copy of "travelling with che guevara" ive got. If any of you are wondering the book was written by his companion on the journey and it is a better read than the motorcycle diaries the only downside is you don't get to read what Che was thinking but Oh wel.

Ernesto Che Guevara was born in May 14th of 1928. But according to his birth certificate he was born on JUly 14th, one month later. This is because his parents belonged to a Catholic society which fumbled so much about ethics of pre-maritial sex.

When, Guevara Serna married Che's mother , she was pregnant, so, inorder to hide the fact that she was pregnant before she got married to him, they moved away. And when Che was born, they fabricated a birth certificate claiming he was born one month than his actual date of birth.

I think this is in Jon Lee Anderson's book, in the first page, Doesn't this prove that many don't even know him that well...

And, Taiga is right,..... I wouldn't give a damn when he was born, I don't see no reason to care about it.

Many Books were written about che. Many were mere attempts to cash out from his fame. They were not a throughly researched books, so it is natural to be so fool of a inaccuracies.

che was born in may, but his mother decided to announce his birth day in june, it had something to do with both of thier families. and no she did not cheat!
