My band is called "Eating Wires and Lighting Fires." In my highschool psychology class we watched a video about schitzophrenia (no clue if I spelled that right). There was a guy in a mental hospital walking undiscribably weird and when people asked him what he was doing he said "Eating wires and lighting fires," and I thought that sounded really cool.

A friend and I started a band called the Pinching Cathaters..but then I remembered I have no musical talent.

Awww. *pet pet* One doen't need musical talent in order to make music. Just like one doesn't need to have a brain in order to run one of the most powerful nation in the world for 8 years. :^P I don't have much musical talent, I just like mixing things and playing around with sounds and distorting things on my computer and calling it ambient art. If I ever need there to be actually substance to the music, that's where the other band members come in. ;) tee hee.

I am concerned primarily with content/meaning and form that reflects content/meaning and context. Often, this requires very little technical ability.

My last band was called RAYGUNOMICS - an extended argument in our first drummer's kitchen ("Burning Economists?" "Reagan Youth!" Etc.) lead us to this conclusion. It's about the military industrial complex. Duh.

Our band is currently undecided on a name, but we&#39;re on the verge of &#39;Twice As Shiny&#39;, cos its a daft phrase from shampoo ad&#39;s which claim to make hair "twice as shiny", as though you can actually measure shinyness.

My previous band was called the &#39;Fabulous Mystery Powders&#39; named after a box with &#39;mystery powders&#39; written on it in the school science lab. We added the &#39;fabulous&#39; &#39;cos we were. We &#39;liberated&#39; the box when we left school and it&#39;s currently in posesion of our drummer. My current band is at the minute nameless, though I was pushing for &#39;Cuban Army Surpluss&#39; in homage to the Clash...

My band is called Nameless Rock and we got the name by accident...a friend who was setting up shit for a concert we were doing asked my bands name and i said that we were just a nameless rock band for now so they printed shirts and shit that said Nameless Rock on them...so it stuck...

Dimhöljd, a swedish word, which I took for band name for no apparent reason really... Means "shrouded in mist".

We play really raw and nihilistic (well, not per definition really, but nihilistic will do) black metal, and we&#39;ve recently released our first full-length.

My bands name is The Revolucions..simply story behind it really. looked at my che poster, it said Revolucion at the bottom, i just added the and an s. Everybody i speak to thinks its a great name...what d&#39;ya think?

I did write a song about Che a while back but the band never done it. one of the lines was something "never a man to get down and pray, this was the man the world knew as Che". I&#39;d like to do it but my singer finds it "too difficult to sing". <_<

Well, I&#39;m not in a band per se but I do plan on going the solo rout, I&#39;ve tried writing punk songs and with a few exceptions I&#39;ve mainly failed, so I&#39;m gonna stick to a more Johnny Cash/Country Springsteen style. As a name (seeing as Morgan ****-****** sounds stypid) I thought up Subliminal Mesages, but I have a feeling its taken.

Am looking for a name for my new band. Braian and the Carollinettes, the Brianettes and September free peace, aswell as Play Without Honour have all been suggested, although apart from the September one, all name are a joke relating to an ex member in a way.

If you drum, live in the Isle of Man and have at least 5 years gigging experience P.M. me ;)
