China should refrain from participating in the rebuilding of Iraq until Iraq has won its sovereignty back - that is until all foreign imperialist forces leave or are driven from Iraq. The Iraqi resistance knows that China opposed the American aggression against their country, and that is why the Chinese hostages were released.

It's still wrong to kidnap jurnalists anyway. It makes the Iraqi resistance look bad and plays right into the U$' hands. As does denouncing democracy.

I'm not sure if I'd say they exactly kidnped them. They didn't have intentions to hurt them, and they didn't have intentions to profit. The only demands the Iraqis made was that China clairified it's position on Iraq.

I'd say they took them for questioning. I'd also say that the Iraqis had the right. . .If you found someone in your backyard, you'd want to know what they were doing there.

I hate the term kidnap anyway. It implies that:
1. they went out looking for someone to capture. . .the captors are the ones who are invading on Iraqi territory
2. That the Iraqis are not organized enough to have an army, militia, or resistance of any kind. The armed struggle of the matter means that if they capture somebody who's in Iraq and shouldn't be, they are a P.O.W.

The U.S. has been using the term "kidnap" to try to make the abductors look like mere thugs.

Democracy under a brutal US military occupation? Please explain to me how that works.

No, I'm not talking about the elections comng up. Al zarquawui (i know i haven't spelt it right) denounced the very principal of democracy. And kidnapping joiurnalists hasn't got the rebels anywhere, nor has suicide bombing civilians.
