Share your counter-inaugural stories here! I couldn't go so I'm wondering how it went. So share your stories about your tactics, police brutality, etc.

I was in Seattle. All the newspapers reported between 1000 and 2000 people but that was according to the pigs. I'd guesstimate that there was closer to 4000-5000 there during the march. Police brutality wise, I didn't see much and mostly the pigs behaved themselves but I had to leave at about 8 pm so I'm not sure whether they kept behaving. As I was leaving I saw the riot squad gearing up and some of the pigs were putting on gas masks.

Guest speakers were okay but there was a National Communist Party representative there who went 3 minutes over his time limit and came out by saying "what this country needs is communism" and half the crowd automatically ignored everything else he said. Bands were great though the guy who does the "pledge to resist" was there and performed the pledge LIVE plus there was an awesome hip-hop/freestyle rap group there that was pretty good (even know I can't stand hip-hop/rap most of the time).

Cool part though- I was actually in the very lead of the march holding the main banner and I was interviewed briefly by the Seattle Times while I had the corporate logo flag (if you've seen it) draped over my shoulders like a cape. Not a bad day, but I was expecting SIGNIFICANTLY more outraged people. I think the total number of protesters in the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia areas was around 40K but it should have been closer to 80K in my opinion.
