All this past century saturated fat has been given the worst attacks than ever, due to scientists that have contaminated the evidence that saturated fat is actually beneficial. What happened is the science experiment involve the study of coconut oil, which is high in saturated fat. But what they also did was heat it up at extremely high temperatures, which turned it into trans fat.

Trans fats are what all of us should avoid. But saturated and unsaturated fats are important for our bodies to function correctly. That is why saturated fat has such an important role. This contains short fatty acids, which are opposite of the long chain fatty acids in unsaturated fat. These short chain fatty acids are what the body can take in and put out, much faster than unsaturated fats. Coconut and Palm are the best sources for saturated fat, but they have been blamed for something that they are not, which is Trans Fats. Dont mix saturated fats with trans fats I say.

If you want to learn more there is a book by Mary G. Enig, Ph.D called "Know Your Fats". Or just look up the internet and type her name and saturated fats. She has done extensive research so I think she knows what she is talking about.

And to prove, I have been eating coconuts, drinking the water and eating the meat inside the coconut. My skin has become much nicer, and I have more energy than before. I am considering it to be my staple food that I eat everyday. Coconuts may be a bit difficult to get an acquired taste to, however, eating the meat and drinking the water raw will make your stool unbelievably constant. My body breaks it down so fast I have to wake up the next morning and take a really big shit. Yeah i said it, but taking good shits constantly throughout your life is important. So coconut will help with constipation and many other problems, including HIV or AIDS patients. This study has just been shown recently that coconut does have antiviral properties.

So yeah, dont listen to your health teachers who tell you saturated fat is bad for you. I wish I would have known so I could tell my health teacher to shove that knowledge up his/her ass. Anyways, go against the grain of society and learn about this stuff. Health is important, and I wouldn't trust a health organization that still considers saturated fats BAD for you.

Even though health teachers may emphasize the fact that fats are bad for you to a degree far worse than they actually are you can't honestly say they are good for you. In large enough doses all things are bad for you fats included they may make you work right but not if you eat 40 burgers a day.

Oh yeh thanks for the comments about your shit greatly appriciated.

actually we talked about this in biology, saturated fats are easiest to break up for energy since you just need to cut 2 carbons off the end and send those into the Krebs cycle, and then do that over and over until that fatty chain is gone

trans fats are really bad since they're not natural and you really have no compatable enzymes to break them down easily

I think the whole "all fats are bad" thing stems from the fact that a lot of the stuff with saturated fat in it also has trans fats, so it's just easier to tell them to avoid fat than trying to educate people

I think our own brains are about 60% fat. Fat is what makes our cells function properly. It may sound wierd but Mary Enig is actually putting out some important things about fats. Fats along with other nutrients are vital. Without fat we cant function properly.
