"New York will get $15.54 per person in 2005 homeland security money this year, less than Wyoming ($27.80) and the Virgin Islands ($46)."

Common Sense obviously does not prevail in this country..........

That figure is hard to work with because of population density. I mean a bigger state, low populated state will obviously have a higher rate per capita than a smaller highly populated state. The figures are kind of skewed in that way. Homeland security is a crock-pot-of-crap, probably the most corrupt department of all.
