What an existenial song...

Another turning point;
a fork stuck in the road.

Time grabs you by the wrist;
directs you where to go.

So make the best of this test
and don't ask why.

It's not a question
but a lesson learned in time.

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs
and still frames in your mind.

Hang it on a shelf
In good health and good time.

Tattoos of memories
and dead skin on trial.

For what it's worth,
it was worth all the while.

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

(music break)

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable
but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

Isn't it called Good Riddance (Time of your Life)...in a website called Beatgreets, you can send this song as a greeting and it's under the birthday song category....

It's an ok song one of their best but they arn't the best band in the world. Thier look look we are all political now with our dumb album with obvious views is pissing me off

Yea, Greenday. They are cool. Infact i think all their songs are cool. Check out their latest Album called "American idiot". It's full of cool songs and ma favourite one in that album is Boulevard of broken dreams.

I read somewhere that the songs of Green Day point to an untimely death of Billie Joe. And the way he paints his face.....

Does all this have to do anything with the rumour that was started a while back?

I doubt Billy Joe'll top himself.

I saw Green Day in october actually, and i have a story that should anger the anarchists. They had a banner with the anarchy symbol (The "A") and I asked my friend, who was super right wing (she bought me tickets....she's a freind :D ) what she thought of it. She simply said, i kid you not, "It's just another way to right an A...it doesn't mean anything".

meh, green day is the same old same old. people use their tabs to learn guitar because there so simple so theres one way to tell how good their instrument creativity is( its not ). and as for the lyrics well there okay, i mean i liked greenday back in like 6th grade now with their new album out they've become lame.

BTW you need to go to an HXC show.

I swear some of those lyrics are wrong -

Hang it on a shelf
In good health and good time.

Tattoos of memories
and dead skin on trial.

Should read

Hang it on a shelf
It could have been good times.

Tattoos of memories
and asking of trial.

Greendays boring. And american idiot mentioned something about the mind controlling media. Either they wrote it for money or they really think that and are too ignorant to notice there the tools of media. ugghh

HAHA, what a dumbass.

And the way he paints his face..... Him and Dave Navaro are the only guys in rock that can get away with that.

This is one of my favorite songs of all time even thoughI have a lot of favorite songs of all time.
