Directive 280

:hammer: Hola Companeros!! (I still haven't learned to get the spanish "n" to work in this computer-any tips?) I am new to this site, but not new in political activism., but there is always room for learning. I am from Bogota, Cundinamarca and have been active in the struggle since 1988 (was active in Nicaragua a few years earlier as part of the "Brigada 25 Aniversario Carlos Fonseca" coffee picking brigade and then later...you get the picture..)In Colombia I was member of JUCO Colombian Communist Youth, later into the UP- PCC, and then...Need I go further..? I was a part of a beautiful cause for social change in Colombia, but eventually I got "burned" and had no choice but to leave the beautiful motherland since a couple of run ins with the tombos (local authorities) and spotted several times by potential "paras" (paramilitaries), also I no longer was in "fit" condition (malaria, Leihsmaniasis, malnutrition and the like..) and I couldn't live a common life either so here I am. I really miss the Paramo of Sumapaz, San Jose del Guaviare (a lot warmer than the first!!) Tacueyo, Cauca, and Puerto Leguizamo, Putumayo, and Sibundoy in Narino (again the damn spanish 'n') I am saddened by the fact that the administration of Alvaro Uribe is extraditing politial prisoners as "drug dealers" to the US, of such valuable men as Simon Trinidad who could apport so much to a possible peace plan (peace plan that is... NOT SURRENDER!!!) Long Live the Revolucion !Abajo with the genocidal pro paramilitary regime of Alvaro Uribe!!
Saludos Companeros!!
