What is the difference between syndicalism and communism? Is syndicalism communism with money? Would it serve as a good transitional stage? Just a question for all anarchists out there.

Syndicalism is worker's unionism. Even though the IWW is offically a-political, Syndalicalism is their goal.
The way Syndicalism means to achieve a revolution is in the reasoning if workers all form into "One big union" or major unions that are devoted to worker's power and rights, that the working class could then shut down and seize control of the entire economy.
Its the basic principle that the capitalists can't get anything done without the proletariat.
So basically, Syndicalism is an attempt to mobilize worker's power via unions in order to set up the dictatorship of the proletariat through general strikes and such.
EDIT- Add on
One a revolution is established, Syndicalist economic system is pretty simple. Sectors of the economy will be under control by their corresponding union. These unions can then co-operate setting fixed prices on goods; like the coal union puts a fixed price of $100 per ton of steel, then the other unions that process steel into finished products would recieve the steel and continue on down the mode of production. Get what I am saying?

A worker's revolution by the workers, just in a different form than other ideologies, even though I am not a Syndicalist particularly, I think it could very well work.

Syndicalistism seems very attainable and like a very good transition into Communism. The power of economies is in the proletariat without wich the economy would crumble. Workers should demand more than they are. Also Unionizing strengthens their demands even more.

instead of workers trying to get what they want thru political take over, they gain it thru economic take over.
