The fact that Mario is attempting to save a Princess in the game should be enough to put the "communist Mario conspiracy" to sleep.

However, I think a case could be made for The Snorks being a fictional Leninist society. If you watched the show, you would know well enough that they were basically Smurfs, except that they lived underwater!

I have all the classical Mario games on the original Nintendo 76 and now that I read this,it is actually true.
