Racism

Hi!

Few days ago I got banned from here because of the racist remark I made, I dmit it was wrong to say such a thing, but it was not what it was supposed to mean.

Anyhow, as I want to ask you to formulate a definition of racism.

The question is , how would you define racism, and whom would you call a racist....

Just simply define Racist, I want operational defintions though.

Anyone who is in anyway prejudiced against someone because of their race is racist. Such as someone who says 'what I hate about the Arabs is...'
BTW, we don't let people who have been banned back in a new account, so it helps not to tell us.... ;)

A rascist is a person who simple is prejudiced towards another race. The person does not have to do anything towards that race phsyically to be a rascist it can just be a thought or a felling.

Even though i wouldn't say a person who made one derogatory comment now and again was an out and out rascist because quite frankly most poeple have said rascist remarks in their life time, but they are not a rascist.

I apologised, and there is no need to hide myself because I am not ashamed of what I meant to say. you can report me again if you like, but that does not change how I feel about the Arab leaders... And that won't stop me from being a socialist.

As for this Statement, I meant to say 'what I hate about the Arabs leaders is......

BTW, man, I am not really ashamed of what I think about the Arab leaders, if you ain't down with that it is your problem.... But all I know is I am not a fucking racist.

Now, If you will please ask the Admin to take the ban away....

What you say about arab leaders is probably true gnerally, mind you what about the new palistinean leasder, I don't think he seems that bad, or Yasser Araffat, ok he's dead now, but i don't think he was like that. So your statement is a sweaping generalisation.

Sup comrade, how is it going..... Let me tell you a simple fact about Arafat, Although he represented the revolutionary spirit, that man had over 200 million in his bank account.

I guess this is a simple characterstics of Arab leaders , revolutionary or not, And some fool on TV was comparing arafat to che Guevara, who died a hero's death.

AS for Abbas, we shall see.....

I never said that it didn't.
I have no problem with your opinions on Arab leaders - I'm pretty sure that most of the site agrees with you - we hate all borgeois leaders, regardless of race. The problem is that when you made your statement against Arab leaders, you didn't just make the mistake of leaving out the word leaders once, but twice. Surely we can understand why we mistook this for out and out racism?

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one - you're lucky the account you are using now hasn't been banned.

Look, I made a racist remark, I admit it, but I openly apologised, three times infact, Everyone makes a racist remark, once in a while.,but that doesn't necessarily make me a full time ultra right racist

I assume he was talking about specific leaders of Arab countries who have sold out to the US and don’t really care about their own people, like the Saudi royal family or Mubarak. He wasn’t talking about Arab leaders or Arabs in general.

Banning him was too harsh, why not give him a warning first? That’s what the warning system is for, isn’t it?
