View Full Version : The Bush Dynasty

Flipping through the pages of my dad's Republican Quarterly I came across an article listing some of the Republican hopefuls for the 2008 presidency. Riding atop that list on his father and brothers coat tails was Florida governor Jeb Bush. This possibility of 16 consecutive years of Bush leadership makes me physically ill, more so than any other family could. I was just wondering what you think would be the foreign policy situation, if Jeb is elected to 2 terms, in the year 2016? Where will or where won't the US be?

I was hoping that the Bush Dynasty would end after Bushes second term... but Jeb? Fuck! Well I personally think there will be [another] election fraud, and Jeb will get his 8 years, and it will just be 'buisness as usual', (Patriot Act III?) This is screwed.

Does anyone know the major Democrat runner?

Election fraud? Sounds like someone needs some therapy and medication for their problem with political paranoia.

I may be paranoid, but I feared fraud for the last election and what do you know? I don't need therapy, I need trust in the electoral system which is failing this fine country of yours.

You don't need to read Republican Quarterly to know that this thing with Jeb has been in the works for quite some time now. I don't suppose anyone noticed him [Jeb] in the background of the shots of Colin Powell when he toured the tsunami disaster sites. Building international recognition anyone? Nevermind the shot of the two of them handing out bottled water in Pensecola last year after Hurricane Ivan blew through here.

Latifa, you take a good joke and destroy it bit by bit. Didn't you read the thread in politics about the political paranoia bill?

 Just read the thread. I don't visit politics often.

Hillary Clinton is supposed to be one of the Democrats front runners.

Bush Power---Just goes to show what a rich person can do in a capitalist political system, buy the presidents office. The capitalist political system is the most money influenced, corrupt, un-democratic system of politics on this planet.

Unless something undeniably incriminating happens in this 4 year term, Jeb WILL be elected. The democrats have nothing but moderates and Howard Dean who destroyed any hopes for the presidency in his campaign. The christian right has emerged, its growing, and I think its here to stay. Never before hav e we seen the religious right as a DOMINANT political force in the US. We need to rethink politics.
Abstaining from the corrupt political system accomplishes nothing.
The situation is becoming dire my friends. We need to try something else. Quietly writing and thinking is doing nothing, and protesting is doing the same. We live in a nation that sees protestors as deadbeats and joiners which may for the most part be true. Writers and lecturers are "ivory tower intellectuals". We must infiltrate the system. We must work it to our advantage, we cannot continue to fight this way and hope to win. So rise up my friends, run for office, dedicate yourself to the betterment of your fellow man. What would have happened had Eugene V. Debs won? The game is late, and WE, have yet to play.

I seem to remember both of Bush's elections, many blacks, eligiable ex-cons, and other minorities (traditionaly democratic) had been denied voting registration in some states.

I also seem to remember a few weeks after the 2000 election, after the recounts and debates in Florida, that locked in the basement of the capitol building in Tallahassee, they found hundreds or thousands of hidden ballots. . .maybe little brother helped out a bit?

Maybe this is parinoia.
Sometimes, though, they ARE out to get you. . .mwahahaha

Assassination?
I know this was a joke. . .but really, think of the alternative.

If Bush had to leave office (Assassination, Impeachment, taken away by the men dressed in white), who would be president?

Bush is incompetent. He can do much harm, but he's comperable to Juan Peron (both idiots).
Cheney is just plain evil. He could do more harm. He's comperable to Adolf Hitler (worst case of genocide since the holocaust or the Congo).

It would be just like a poorly acted, directed, and cinomagraphed horror B-movie. . .brrrrrrr!

The republicans resorted to assassinations and propaganda to destroy the peace movement in the 60's, and fight unjustified wars for profit while brainwashing the American people. I bet Bush was in on 9-11 as well.

Remeber the book/movie/game dune? Remember how the baron made rabban the arrakian governer first so that he could bring in fayd when all the people hated rabban. Fayd could come in like the great liberator a new rule ousting a tyrant. Jeb IS supposed to be the smart one.

I seriously doubt the Dems will run Hilary, she's faaaaaaaar to hated by the right ("communist femnazi" ). I keep hearing about Barak Obama (sp?)...

I think I'd probably have to renounce my citizenship if lil' Jeb got in.

the best possible candidate out there i belive is Senator John McCain from Arizona, he calls himself a Republican but is just as much a Democrat as a Republican, he is right down the middle, although i think it would be funny if it was hilary vs. condi rice hmmm major cat fight

Jeb Bush would be a horrible disaster of a president, but you should also analyze the other republican candidates too because they are just as vile and vicious.

Gulioni (wrong spelling?) the infamous black hand of New York, this former mayor of New York managed a police force infamous for It's crimes against the civilian poulation and defended their right to do whatever they wanted to.

The Terminator: I have no idea how this jack ass became governor of California, for some reason this state likes to elect actors as governor (AKA Ronald Reagan).
But thanks to the continued efforts of Orin Hatch to change our constitution, the day shall soon approach when Arnold will be eligible to run for the position of #1 imperialist.

Bill Frist (current majority leader): This guy has done more in his years in office than any other republican to reverse the progressive reforms of the 60's and has a reputation for ethics so bad, PeeWee Herman would be ashamed.

Thoughts anyone?
