Mumia Abu-Jamal
Award-winning African-American journalist, the author of several books, and a political prisoner currently sitting on Pennsylvania's Death Row. He was convicted and sentenced to death for the alleged murder of a white policeman on December 9, 1981, in a trial defined by prosecutorial, judicial, and even defence attorney misconduct.

Sherman Austin
Anarchist webmaster, was sentenced on August 4, 2003, to one year in federal prison with three years of strict probation. Austin was sentenced to this despite entering a plea bargain with the prosecution who had asked that Austin be sentenced to 4 months in prison.

Leonard Peltier
Leonard Peltier, a citizen of the Anishinabe and Lakota Nations, is a father, a grandfather, an artist, a writer, and an Indigenous rights activist. He has spent more than twenty-seven years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Amnesty International considers him a "political prisoner" who should be "immediately and unconditionally released."

Sir Mark Thatcher
Former arms trade business man and son of former conservative prime minister Baroness Margaret Thatcher, now is involved in business ventures in South Africa including diamonds. Arrested for involvement in the oil motivated attempted coup of Equatorial Guinea. 4 year suspended sentence and a £250,000 fine.

The first three have more value to the world in their little fingers than some middle-aged spawn of Thatcher. Quarter of a million pounds is nothing more than loose change to dinosaurs like "Sir" 'I inherited a title off my jackarse father' Mark Thatcher.

Elmo, I think you're missing the point. People care because his sentence should be much more severe. A planned murder of a nations leader should constitute some accountability if the system's aim is to have a legitimate function. I personally think he should be charged by the South African's authority and undergo their decision accordingly.

I know Clinton was about to Pardon Peltier, but the FBI protested outside the White House, so he didn't because Bill knew that if he did, he'd end up like
Malcom, Martin, Lennon, and the Kennedy's. D-E-A-D.

I care about trying to highlight the farce of "justice" and the hypocricy of those who control our society.
