Joining Up - Your views on drafts

Has anyone else thought of the possibility of being drafted and what they will do. i mean with the way things are going these days, a draft may be in order in the future. In a lyric from the exploited they say"joined the army at seventeen, two years later youre a killing machine" it just made me think

Living in Canada, I think that the possibility to be forced to enroll is a laughable idea... We would need Cessna that flies C-16 that fires and other arms that WORKS or FUNCTION. But I'm actually pretty happy that we have a crapy army...it keeps our peacefull values a live... (thinks a bit: O yae that's why we have soldiers in Afghanistan right?..rrr...I hate it)

the draft is something i have been thinking about a lot lately. if it does come up, then it will probably be for something that i dont agree with, so i would dodge it. but you must think about the draft as a whole. whithout the draft, the people of the ghettos are the ones that are most likely to join the army voluntarily, while the kids from the wealthy families, or semi-wealthy families, are much less likely to join. that causes a little bit of a dilemma. although certain people can buy their way into places of no military action when the draft reaches them.

The cool way would be to form a resistance movment against the draft, but again, that wouldn't help the country very much... I think I would follow Graky's idea, that seem, today, the idea that would work the most with some of my principles..
