This is a paper I wrote to a republican friend of mine. It made him think, which is good enough for me. basically, this is propaganda for you to spread around. If my points aren't well developed enough or if im just plain wrong, then tell me, so I can fix it...

Im going to be as concise as possible, which means you may find flaws in how I word things, but you will find this more interesting. I am killing the beast of ignorance and apathy with a flail rather than poisoning it in its sleep.

The first question I think I must answer is What exactly am I trying to prove?. I am going to show you through logical thinking that America endorses and is run in a state of fascism. I will also say that some school organizations, most notably the athletic programs and the national honor society contribute to the fascist ideology. If you want an extended definition of fascism then look here: http://www.angelfire.com/tx5/ara/pde/facism.html. But the idea that we are better than them is very prevalent in American society. Im sure you make fun of other nations like canada and france and china all the time, and not even realise it. You see, forceful nationalism is fascism. In fact, any discrimination, is in a sense, fascism.

Now that I have defined fascism (feel free to question me on these things) I will go on to explain that America is indeed a fascist nation. I could tell you all sorts of interesting things about the CIA selling drugs (true), the development and use of AIDS as a weapon for assassination in US labs (possible but doubtful), or aliens that rule the nation in secret and feed on fear (some have theorized such things, but they are rather unlikely), but I think there is little point in that. I will only discuss things that are applicable to today; I wont try to say that there has always been a grand conspiracy, because I have trouble believing it. I wrote about bushie:

Bush is brave yes, bush does what he says he will do. That is the main reason that i dont think kerry would have been better. But I think he is deceiving us. He uses religious words and petty nationalism to sway us to his side. He believes he is on a mission from God. I am a chrstain, and i definitly believe in God, but, saying that the war in iraq, a war where we slaughter so many innocents, is a mission from God? thats frightening. I believe that if god really wanted us over there then he would control the soliders so they would kill less (if any) civilians, and there would be fewer friendly causulites (i realize that for the american, going to war is safer than driving, but for the iraqs on our side it is very dangerous) I think he is sincere. I think he believes with all his heart that we should be there. But I think he is VERY VERY wrong.

I can detail any of these points invidually, and I can give you these webpages to look at http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article5648.html

For information on how Cheney uses Halliburton. Remember the cold war? (of course not, we werent born yet) but the basic lie was we cant see what there doing, so it must be evil isnt that the same thing you hear about Iraq? So, are you proud to be an American?

For further information, google for cheney haliburton fallujah war crimes and whatever else you can think of oh, and Clinton is doing more to help with the tsunami then bush is.

oops... missed half of its. Sorry for being a noob.

Time to discuss nationalism Would you die for your country? No way would I die for my country. Nationalism (and I am sad to say religion also often falls into this category) is a control tool. Nothing else. Its you love your nation, so you will go fight and die for it. Do you even know why you love it? Why you like being Italian? Do you even have a good reason? You can say my country did this good thing, and that good thing, but define good. Good for your country? Thats circular reasoning. Nationalism is a lie imposed on us by our educational system and the media. School Spirit and other such petty loyalties are as well.

So we have this so far: Fascism is forceful nationalism, or, more accurately, using nationalism to acquire things that are good for your nation, thus spawning more nationalism. America uses this nationalism to inspire you to fight against its enemies. Nationalism is a lie. It seems the most obvious conclusion is that Americas leaders personally benefit from conflicts such as the ones in Iraq. They must have a reason to lie. You can say stuff about how dick Cheney doesnt personally benefit from Halliburton, but the connection is definitely shady, and there are several ways I think of that he can benefit from helping Halliburton. Its very easy to do things under the table, especially if you own the table. I think Ive shown you that America is lying to you out of greed. I think I shall spend a little time on our culture and how fascism manifests itself in that. But first, a commercial about the media.

Columbine. Im sure they very word fills you with a bit of fear, as it was the why are our kids like this wake up call. Im not going to discuss the reasons for it here (Im sure I will later, and, no, Im not going to blame it on violent entertainment) You know the story of Cassie Rene Bernall. Or, at least, you think you do. According to she said yes (one of the most sickening books on the market, using some lies and Jesus magic to sell) Cassie said I believe in god when some Eric and Dylan asked her, and then shot her in the head. http://www.atheistalliance.org/library/colombine_martyr.html , as well as some non-religious websites, (http://www.salon.com/news/feature/1999/09/23/columbine/index.html) will confirm this never happened. Yes, I consider atheism a religion. Anyway, the stories are very conflicting and most likely thing to happen was: They got under a table when the shooters burst in and started shooting. "Dear God. Dear God. Why is this happening?" is what Emily heard Cassie say. Then, Dylan Klebold banged on the table, looked underneath and yelled "Peekaboo." He shot Cassie without them exchanging a word. So, this thing that millions of people became Christians for never really happened. You have been lied to. You heard the stories. You believed them. They are false. Preachers are spreading lies to get converts. So, are you proud to be Christian?

Fascism in American Culture.

I think the best example for this is homophobia. You have yet to show be where in the bible it says its wrong. Im not going to say it just isnt there, because its suggested that its wrong, but compare the teachings on being like a Pharisee with being a homosexual. These God hates fags people are evil. The American culture (or at least the ugly bits i've seen) is homophobic. If you show gentleness, or if you are pretty like josh, you receive the scarlet letter of homosexuality. Even if you arent gay, you have a fear of people thinking you are. You must be tough. Toughness often times leads to violence. Columbine again- some people said Eric and Dylan were fags. Now, we have a culture of violence. We have a culture of fear. The media (which exist more for the purpose of making money rather then reporting) will say that some serial killer is out there and sell papers. Murder sells. The more violent the crime, the more people want to read it. Morbid curiosity. This leads to fear. Fear that your neighbor might be a killer or a thief. Its true, in Canada, most people dont even lock their doors, but in America we lock our doors because we are fearful. Our economy adds to this because it is, as Einstein once said, economic anarchy. The most powerfull claw to the top. The most able, the most capable, the stongest, the best. Sounds like natural selection to me. Sounds like secular humanism. Sounds like all the evils that people blame on violent video games. Its all about anarchy. This doesnt manifest itself physically, no. But look at how we idolize those who get ahead. Donald Trump is ugly and fat and he has his own TV show. Sports are the same way, the strongest make it to the top. They get paid to entertain us. And entertainment, the sweet, sweet drug of entertainment (which I will call soma from now on) makes us apathic to the truth. Look at Rome. It was entertainment that distracted the peasants from the political atrocities. It is the same today. Columbine is more the fault of CNN then it is DOOM. (see Bowling for Columbine for more ideas on this- dont see it for information, because its information is misleading)
