This is more of a plea for help than anything. I'm trying to find info in what Castro's thought were on the FLQ. I search, and search, and can't find shit!

It is rather odd that he would befreind the man that crushed the FLQ. I now that Trudeau's thought were that it was a rebellion, not a revolution. He found this out by throwing all he could at them, and if it didn't work, then it was a true revolution. I know that's all boregois shyte, but what were Castro's thoughts?

e-mail the CBC or go on their site ,I know they did a amazing documentary on the FLQ . I don’t support the FLQ for the simple reason that they used unnecessary terrorism to get their message across . and that message note being one that I find to be very understating or friendly towards none Francophobe’s.

Actually, some of the FLQ's larger supporters were anglophone - and the FLQ didn't oppose anglos, but Anglo-imperialism. That is, they oppossed the economic, and consequencal cultural dominance of anglophone, and, in particular, American, capital in Quebec.

(Has anybody read "White Niggers Of America"? I'd like to, but I suspect it's difficult to find . . .)

I obviously wasn't thinking very clearly when I posted this.

Of course Castro's whole relationship with Trudeau was a diplomantic endeavor. I am still curious however if he ever let his true feelings slip on this issue. ;)

I find the FLQ's efforts nessecary but clearly uneffective. Was the death of on dirty politician really that big of a deal? Either way?

No . . . but it would have been fuckin' grand if their conspiracy, in collaboration with the BPP, to blow up the Statue Of Liberty had succeeded.
