Now i heard that in cuba there is no advertising of products and so on. Is this true because if theres one thing I can't stand its advertisements telling me I "need" something.

Castro's still in power so I'm assuming that's true, but then again I've never been. Still it's a pretty good step to take towards a socialist libertarian society, first undermine the supposed "value" of product, then watch the fireworks!

So,...advertisings are bad for socialism since they manipulate and represent something which has a value or try to explain this value??since nobody really buys products ,there is no need for advertising? <_< I dont like advertisings anyway...

They are.

Ever heard of doublespeak? An idea inveted by george orwell when wrtiting animal farm and 1984 know because of the capatalist bougerois a reality. You disguise a meaning in a word eg. colletaral damage is where bombs miss there targets and hit scholls, hospitals and houses. Ethnic cleansing is when hundreds of thousands of people are killed, toruted and forced to flee from there homes because of there beliefs or skin colour.

Now doublespeak is being used by the advertising industry. Does anyone here have any good examples. I suppose that one good one might be for SUV'S AKA 4*4 (how do you do a "times" sign on a computer?) shown going up a mounting or some other off road thing. Without telling about the awful safety rate terrible fuel consumption and that you never will go off-road all you will use it for is doing the school run.
