Puppet president

Here is my theory on the few mins. following the election of a new president. President led through corridors of white house to secret room. There sit the heads of oil companys etc. they are sat in a chair still smiling happily and basking in their glory a large t.v screen in front bursts into life. Oh look it's the J.F.K assasination from another perspective (a kinda...................grassy knoll perspective) "any questions mr president".

O.K so perhaps that's a little far fetched but does anyone really believe that somone as dumb as George dubya Bush could actually have enough brain cells to run a country?

I'm not fully convinced the W is a complete idiot. He's bilingual, even passed some of his classes. SUre, he talks like an idiot, but he's lived in Texas most of his life!

Your theory is not as far fetched as you may think. Though there will be no 'secret room' - there's nothing secret about it at all. Companies employ lobbyists to lobby Republican and Democrat partie's different nominations for candidate to offer tax breaks and the like to their companies in return for their financial support - this is a multi-million dollar industry in DC. So the president does not need to be told what to do post-inaugoration by the corporations - they have already done all of that a long time ago.

I don't think he's even running the country the way he wants.

Think about it. The CIA has had experience in repression and war for much longer than Bush has had power. Bush is now in the middle of firing anybody in the CIA who knows anything, about anything. This is mereley because they see his little Vietnam in the Middle East, as a mistake and are starting to become defiant. Bush is destroying his neocon agenda, by replacing those who created it. I'll bet his father is right pissed! ;)

not that it really matters, but techinically wouldn't illuminati not be jewish, but atheist? oh and as far as the president being a puppet, well of course, but so what that is the nature of politics. Bush is only going to do whatever it is he thinks will keep his approval ratings high and money from his friends in the big bussiness coming. but rest assured this is not specific to just Bush. all presidents are backed and controlled by some big bussiness, they have to be, they need massive sums of money to run their campaigns, and even after their done as president they still need money to build their libraries. This is just the nature of capitalism, everything is run by the big bussiness and their lobyists. and this is true not just for the president but all government employees not in the bureaucracy. that is virtually what politicing is. doing what your staff tells you will make you look good and follows your financial benefactors, almost never do people in congress and such really represent their people, but they continue to be elected because how is an average citizen suposed to know if their congressman is anygood or not? usually they just vote for a name they like or anybody they recognize, or just their party line, regardless.
