I was listening to this show on the radio Coast To Coast on AM 600 and they had this guy who wrote a book about aliens and the extraterestial it was very interesting i mean most thtings he talked about he had evidence from pictures studied on by top forensic specialists to pieces of material from a Spaceship. That when tested had unknown material in it. He even had top pentagon officials and several cientists hired by the US to study metals and fabrics and even bones. He also mentioned that there alien bases underground in several countries such as the US, Russsia, and china but he also said that there was underwater ones.
The ones in the US however were being guarded by soldiers who didnt know what they were gaurding anyways this was all very interesting to me.
If anyone could please tell me more about The USSR's UFO researching branch i would appreciate since i dont know much about that.

Well I know channels such as Discovery and those often run programs about USSR Ufo hunters...
as for aliens then if you mean life existing in other parts of the galaxy then there is a very high chance that it might. Think of just how many stars there are and such,+ it may not be life as we know it when we do find it

Aliens and UFOs are a piece of shit. Such as religions, psychics, clairvoyance, indigo children, prophecies, astrology, numerology and basically most stuff that would fit on skepdic.com (http://www.skepdic.com), if you get my point.
If you "believe in aliens", please explain how did they come into existance. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I highly doubt that most "I saw a little green men!" wackos are serious and that there's intelligent live somewhere else and it actually took that shape.

Obviously we're not talking little green men here. But I think that it's probable, given the enormity of the universe, that the conditions neccessary to create life just like ours on earth exists somewhere other than on our own planet. Maybe they're fighting their own revolution against a capitalist hierarchy. :D

I'm going to have to say there are aliens out there. We've already discovered fossils of bacteria on Mars, so I don't think we should rule out anything else. It's a bit naive to think that humans are alone in the universe. After all, its the universe, and its big. Then again, there may be other humans out there. That would probably be more likely.

I would assume any "aliens" would have come about in the same way we did. I read a research paper on how if you blast a carbon molecule with enough UV power that it creates some sort of cell. There has to be life out there somewhere, with the infinite number of stars and all.

Please explain how humans came into existance?

We evolved from a primitive primate, which in turn evolved from less-evolved creatures, and this cycle goes back and back until we get to the least evolved and basic of life. I'm not sure how it works, but thats probbaly how we came to be humans.

I believe in aliens. They came into existance in the same way that we did. (Or at least the same way that we think we came into existance) Through the evolution of small microrganisms. (Fuck that word.)

I believe in Aliens and UFOs.
Aliens live on other planets and have never visited Earth (at least it would be highly unlikely). They came about as a result of evolution.
UFOs are just that. Sometimes the become IFOs.

I would find it highly likely that aliens do exist in some form, based on the chemical makeup of the universe and the basic building blocks of life. I would find it completely unlikely that they'd visit earth for any particular reason, however, not to mention the fact that it might very well be impossible to travel such distances in a practical fashion.

i think its irrational to belive that we have the only planet with life on it.
also, a different species may not have the same requirments for life that we do.

I was mostly talking about the "little green men". How come they evolved with 2 hands, two feet and two eyes? I mean, out of many possibilities, how come the aliens are so much like a mix of humans and...er...frogs(?)????

Of course aliens exist. How can earth, being only one of the trillion trillion trillion trillion to the trillionth planet in the universe, be the only planet hosting life?
I mean, we already found fossilized bacteria on Mars. Since that already proves the existence of aliens, that proves they exist anyways.
As for huge alien civilizations, why shouldn't they exist? Just watch PBS's Origins, and they will give you a mathematical formula proving the existence of at least 100 alien civilizations.
Ok, im rambling

Does it make any sense to believe in aliens?
We may suppose that the existance of other lifeforms is possible. But it's not the matter of belief.

I believe in aliens. The universe is far too big for us to be the ONLY life forms. However, I don't believe in UFOs because there are no advanced aliens in our galaxy. The UFOs that have been spotted were not UFOs. There is a theory out there that these UFOs are actually secret military aircraft. They were supposed to be there to spy on the soviet union.

Its not a case of do I "believe", but do I understand the laws of probability?
I think aliens exist.

Aliens are bullshit, Just a creation of hollywood. And saying that they exist without proof is another bullshit.

Why are you so sure about this? How do you know that there are no advanced alien civilizations in this galaxy?

Yeah, that's what they say. Like when the government tried to prove there was no alien crash at Roswell, by releasing information on all these top-secret projects, such as Project Mogul, or this atmospheric re-entry craft that was shaped like a flying saucer; or Project Highdive (I think that's what it was named) where they tested the effects of high altitude parachuting. And the other things they say accounts for the sightings are natural phenomona. Anybody know about that? And what about the cases where neither one of these explains the sightings? Are people just imagining it all? I have a couple of books, though I haven't really read them, but they talk about aliens and the government working together, aliens landing at air bases in New Mexico to meet with government people, etc., etc.. I'm not too sure about that though. And didn't the Germans back under Hitler design some secret flying saucer shaped craft?
If you wanna know more just watch the history channel.
Yes, they do have an obsession with aliens don't they!?! That and the Nazis. Seems like everytime I put it on the History Channel, it's either aliens, or the Nazis and World War II. Still interesting though.
