I've got just over 3,500 files, arranged by artist and album. Most of it is anarchist/leftist punk of some sort, predominently left-wing pop-punk and old british anarcho-/peace-punk, plus the necessary smattering of SKA, hardcore, etc. but there are also a few hip-hop albums (Public Enemy, Paris), and some folk.

ehm..well I downloaded soulseek but I don&#39;t think I have a username&#33;Do you have to register anywhere or do you just create it where it says "login as"?And do you have to wait till it gets connected like kazaa in order to download songs?(i guess so).Finally you type the song/artist name or what?(maybe username?) <:(

You can only download immediately those which are in black. There are queues on it. Sometimes you have to wait. If you only find songs in grey check out the "In queue" column: the lower a number is, the less amount of files that person has to share before it starts uploading it to you.

PS.Someone in a chatroom told me that in order to download songs you have to have already a big amount of songs to share.(I mean songs from real albums from my pc)Is that true?

No, it&#39;s not necessary to share to download but many people will ban you from downloading their music if you don&#39;t. So it&#39;s better for everyone if you share. I&#39;ve added you already.

I highly recommend donating to soulseek. I did, and you get download priveleges :) You get bumped to the front of the download lines.

EDIT: You can also give priveleges to any user you wish once you have them :)

I forgot to add that my username is the same as above, but I don&#39;t keep files for very long, I put em on CD&#39;s and erase them. But I usually have a few full albums, and I don&#39;t listen to shitty music so just pick one and go, it&#39;ll be good &#33; :lol:

If you&#39;re on, look up the user fuckgeorgeWbush he&#39;s got some really good political stuff. Various speeches, audio books, lots of text stuff.

Sometimes after I get a song queued I decide to end it before it starts. Then, occasionally it comes back after I delete it and begins downloading, it creates another folder called "upload" within my shared folder and puts those songs there. How do I permanently remove a song from queue ?

I don&#39;t about all that new folder shit you were saying, but I haven&#39;t found a way to permanently delete something from my queue. IT&#39;s annoying. I think it could be because it is still on the other persons list.

I&#39;m not using soulseek this last while and won&#39;t be for the time being. I can&#39;t remember my username, but I&#39;ll give it to you Rubble when I get back up and running on it.

My rules are I ban you if:

1. You don&#39;t share

2. You have extremely bad music like Dashboard Confessional, HIM, Blink 182, Limp Bixkit, Linkin Park and so on also if you have a heap of techno/prog or commercial rap I&#39;m prone to ban as I think that if you want my music then we must have slightly similar tastes. That said if you have shit taste but one gem like Ween - The Pod then you can have anything or if you are getting something that shows really good taste then I&#39;ll talk to you about music and decide what to let you have.

3. If you queue up more than one album at a time you will be banned as I&#39;m only on 56k dial up connection and it slows what I can get and what others are getting from me.

Now that said I have a fair bit of music and most of it is fairly good. If I publicy release my name I fear I may get clogged up with people trying to get stuff so I&#39;d rather be PM&#39;d.
