There are two parts to this one, do you agree with it and would there be exacutions after a revolution. I know there was after the cuba revolution, and most others also i assume, but would it be nessacery in a modern day context.

I have no problem removing from society those who commit any horror even a fraction as atrocious as those who were executed in Cuba.

I do not agree with capital punishment under our current capitalist system because there are many flaws and the system is extremely racist. During and after the revolution is will might be necessary to kill, “anti-revolutionaries”, racists, religious leaders, ext.. that are not willing to adjust and try to impede revolution all together.

yea but what about murders and stuff.

It depends very much on the case. Why are murders currently committed? Would all the same reasons for murder exist under socialist and eventually communist society? Material greed or monetary gain will cease to exist as a motive. So you're left specifically with crimes of passion or criminally insane cases. Both of these cases can more than likely be rehabilitated, and I think should be given that chance. Multiple murders or the inability for someone to be cured of a mental illness which is causing them to do harm to others would seem to have little reason NOT to execute. The other alternative is life imprisonment. We KNOW that they're not safe out on the street because of their condition, so we either store them up in a prison or end their life. One makes a lot more sense than another, at least materially.

You must also remember that under a communist society there will be no "hardened criminals" that are created from the intolerable prison system. Prisons will not exist as they do today. They will be well-kept places which, if need be, keep a dangerous person away from others, but the place itself would not be unbearable but pleasant and similar to normal living conditions.

After the revolution? No, why?

Before and during the revolution...se no real reason. Ofcource people will get killed, that is unevitable. People always die. But when they are caught and secured, I see no real reason till kill them. During the chinese revolution for example, many on the other side joined the reds because they treat their prisoners well...
