I was watching this TV program last night about an ancient civilisation known as the indus. This society was almost alone at that time in that it operated with absolutely no ruling class or leaders. Yet, with an amazing sense of civil focus the people in this city built an extraordinary series of Aqueducts and irrigation channels supplying them with water all year round in their arid inhabitat.
These people did it without leaders in ancient times, why can't it be done know when modern techniques would make it so much easier?
