He doesn't look 60 to me.

And what's with this formerly of the Doors musical group stuff? It sounds so lame.

There are a lot of sites that talk about that Jim Morrion is alive but this one is laughable :D . There's even one where they show Jim's ghost on a photograph near his grave. -->Here (http://www.rockandrollbadboy.com/morrison.html)

This might happen which I hope will not. There's been a talk about moving Jim back to America because he's making trouble to the place even though he's not alive. Well that's what the peoples say that have responsibility for Pere Lachaise. People use to come and get high at his burial place, have some drinks, get laid, sing, read poetry, dance and even king of sleep next to Jim. Fans are crazy on his birthday and on 3 July where they use to leave beer and whiskey bottles on his grave as part of the celebration. Now they even have rules that particularly point at Jim's burial place
-No one is allowed to paint graffiti on his gravestone (you get a sentence for it nowadays, maybe through money, maybe even jail) But this is mostly binged up because people write messages to Jim on other peoples gravestones since there was no place for graffiti on his monument.

His grave is the most vandalised grave in the world.

When I visited Pere Lachaise in February, the grave was covered in cigarettes, condoms and alcohol, never mind for his birthday.

Lucky you for being there! But people are just out of their minds. That even such an idea comes up as stealing his gravestone as part of a Jim-holic’s fan collection is cracked. It's heavy, no one can lift it up with bare hands and run with it before someone sees a BIG stone written JIM MORRISON, it's )))) crazy ((((( .
There's been a statue of his head on his old grave and I think it was two fans that actually made it. They where first about breaking through Lachaise and leave on Jim's gravestone in the middle of the night, sneaking and hiding with their piece of art, unfortunately a guard saw them but he was more of a human with a fan heart and let them do their thing become he though the statue looked nice. :)

Indeed! Two fans did make that statue of his head! I'm glad that the guard let them place it on his grave. I think it is quite fitting, not to mention lovely :)

Oh and lucky you BOZG!

It's a nice cemetary, I'd like to go back again. Very old though so there's a shitload of cracked graves and the like.

I've read its the third most visited site in Paris. More so than the Notre Dame.

It's a definite visit if you're there and are a Jim Morrisson fan or a morbid bastard like me. I used to spend my Saturdays taking pictures of a cemetary near me.

Actually there was a picture of me humping a grave stone which I posted on Paranormal.com informing people that this was my ritual of communicating with the dead. Scarily, most people who posted in the thread actually believed me.
