If he is, then it is a great shame, but millions suffer from cancer worldwide. Fidel wouldnt be the first and sadly wont be the last to suffer from cancer.

No he does not have cancer. I hope Raul will develop it though. He is ruthless.

Personally, I am inclined to believe that he has Parkinson's disease. My grandpa has it and Castor shows a lot of the syptoms i.e. shaking.

Uncertified rumours about Fidel having prostate (if I remember correctly) cancer has been circulated for about a decade. Not sure if it is true.

It is a shame if he does but it is unlikely. Has killed millions and a cured must be found. About raul, is he really that ruthless?

Raul is a bit of an extremist and if Fidel does have cancer he probably won't survive it,he is just getting older.

Fidel's health is zooming down faster then the stock market. In the past couple years, he's fallen over twice in public (people manage to make the footage funny by looping and adding music, but otherwise it's sad), and his doctor's say he could live to be over 140. <_<

Raul exemplifies a radical communist. I think he feels like he's been somewhat unsucessful and that he personally let the revolution down by not creating a strong co-op of Commusnist Latin America countries. I think he feels isolated, and so being ruthless is the only way to get his voice heard.

Thanks comrades for clearing that up for me. Maybe Raul is a bit sad about the fact that he has been pushed aside. Thank you again comrades!

I dont think Raul was that that ruthless. Hopefully, he will take over after Fidel passes away.
