View Full Version : An introduction

Greetings to all. As I have just discovered this place I thought some introductions may be in order. I am a mid 30s aged, long standing socialist. I am an immigrant to the US - having married a US citizen. I come from a different western nation and have been, frankly, repulsed by what I have seen here. I have a degree in philosophy and political science, with an emphasis on Marx and Bakunin (among others - socialist thought is regarded highly and taught with repect in my home country).

I live in the South - and for those who do not live here I can only say - be thankful.

I have a few ideas I would like to discuss at some time - although now is not so good as I am too tired, it being 2am or thereabouts.

That is probably all for now. Again, greetings and best wishes to all.

Welcome, comrade!
I'm very curious to hear the ideas you want to discuss.
I always dig hearing something new introduced into the often all-too-stale leftist milieu.

For a second there, I thought you were repulsed by what you'd seen at this board :P

Welcome.
