Yes, Kenneth Turan. Of the Los Angeles Times. In my opinion, certainly one of the best film critics for one of the best bourgeois dailies in the US. (bite me, it's not that bad)
This thread has to do with both films and literature, as it's a book about movies. Great book. Buy it. It's about independent and foreign films. You know, it's good to have a reference of good independent and foreign movies. Because you wanna watch indy movies, but it's often hard to know which ones are good, where to even find out about their existence, or whether or not you'd even wanna see it.
