I've noticed that throughout the recent history of the world, we have always had an enemy of two heads. These two heads are not necessarily identical in idealogy, but they have a few similarities and are also beneficial to one another. A major similarity is that they both hate Communism. This is just an idea but have a look at the folloiwng timeline -

c1790s-c1920s = Monarchism vs Socialism
Imperalism vs Communism

c1920s - c1945 = Nazism vs Communism
Fascism vs Communism

c1945- c1980s = Stalinism vs Communism
Capitalism vs Communism

c1980s -present = Capitalism vs Communism
Religious Fundamentalism vs Communism

What are your views on this?

I think this suggestion is merely an act of 'Communist' self-indulgence. I can't comment immediately on the 1790-1920s part, because it could refer to numerous different movements(I would hope you could elaborate on this). The Fascism VS Communism part is dripping in absurdity. The differences between the ideologies of Stalin and Hitler were not that different, and besides that you are leaving out the Corporate Democracies or whatever you would like to call them of the world. A significant point to make about this is that both Stalin and the Corporate Plutocracies were supportive of Hitler in the beginning. The next one doesn't make much sense to me, there wasn't any noticeable struggle between Communists and Stalinists during those times, I think you are calling certain people Communists when they are not. The last one is simply odd. For starters, I ask you what conflict between alleged Communists and Capitalists are you referring to? The entry of the term 'religious fundamentalism' is oversimplifying the matter, the current rulers of the world do the things they do for reasons besides religious fundamentalism, and the notable religious fundamentalists have nothing to do with the rulers of the world. Again, this is simply another 'Communist' self-indulgent pity party.

Youre right but not about the whole "pity" thing. I was just suggesting that Communism always seems to have two opposing ideas in the world - but yes, it was oversimplified.
