Finally some good news from Palestine. Palestinian freedom fighters detonated a shitload of explosives in a tunnel under an Israeli army post, and then stormed the post. Five IDF terrorists were killed and six were wounded in the operation.

I admire the Palestinians' resourcefulness. Even with their backs firmly against the wall, they still manage to come up with new and effective ways to attack the enemy.
What I find interesting, though, is that all of the dead soldiers are Bedouins. Aren't they Arabs as well? Why are they fighting for a Jewish state, against their 'own' people?

Would you prefer it if they were Jews? It doesn't make any difference to me. They are probably just conscripts, forced/brainwashed into fighting a war that they would otherwise never agree with, just like most imperialist soldiers.

The Israelis will probably use this as 'evidence' of al Qaeda involvment in Gaza. <_<

Either way, they are enforcing an illegal occupation.
They can choose to leave, or face Palestinian resistance.

It doesn't really make a difference, it just seems strange, especially since many of the settlers they are protecting are anti-Arab racists.

They would love to find a link between Hamas and al-Qaeda, but it's unlikely that such a link exists. The resistance movements seem to be more inspired by Hezbollah, and are using tactics similar to the ones Hezbollah used to drive the Israelis out of Lebanon.

I like the tunnel idea. Very effective and quite clever. Maybe it might scare the Zionists a little bit if Palestinians keep coming up with these ideas.
