Why don't you download GIMP? It's free and open source, a product of what I would consider a movement driven by communist ideals.

GIMP == GNU Image Manipulation Program

www.gimp.org

on the photoshop issue:

We should support free software, even if the illegal download is seen as a "blow" to capitalism. That illegal download will remain available and do the very same damage whether you use it or not (because you sure as hell aren't buying it). However, downloading free software increases it's user-base and strengthens the movement as a whole.

Technically anything you get without paying is a blow to capitalism, as long as no-one else has paid for it.

And nice image Latifa :P what did you make it on?

Hey I nave um-friends who download pirated software all the time, but in no way should this act be misconstrued as a blow to capitalism. It helps you get a program that you probably couldn't afford or wouldn't have purchased anyway. I think there is something to be said for supporting freeware. It is in agreement with the communist ideal.

If guys are doing some really high end stuff that can only be accomplished with the most expensive programs available then by all means use it. But if not, we should stick with what a comrade had developed and given out freely to the public.
