Hello,

Due to my numerous and heinous infringements I'm obliged to drop this little number into Opposing ideologies..

RAF will probably sink it anyway - he has the knives out for me, calls me son and soforth.. I have no debate, everything here is, well.. Hunky dory. Everyone is happy, including the vultures, it's all quiet on the Cuban front though the excessive but necessary tourism is turning certain areas into some sort of tropical Costa del sol...No, I'm not a tourist - I'm a welcome guest on an important cultural mission so fuck you and yours.

I'm in Cardenas with Lazaro and family, Lazaro is a forgotten Sonero - much like Ibrahim Ferrer or any of the Buena vists peeps. I am working on a project with him. I am also taking more Conga lessons. The Cubans can play any instrument and make you feel embaressed with their mastery..

Well hopefully this will get read by someone before old RAF dumps it, maybe Sparky44 will take it as an opportunity to condem Fidel and this wonderful revolution.. I dunno, well I have rum to drink.. Hasta luego..

How is the transportation in Cuba ? I heard its pretty bad.

Just today I saw a documentary about how a canadian organization called bicycles across borders based in canada is trying to refurnish old worn out cycle's and sending them to cuba where there is a great need for cycles.

The public transport is also very bad I heard with those camel buses coming only once in 45 minutes that all filled up

The only easy way to travel is by hitchhiking and I heard that people usually give a lift only if you are attractive woman

That is often true in any case of hitchhiking, to specifically tie it to Cuba would be distortion.

Have you seen any of the Abu Ghraib billboards?

Have a good time. :)
