Far from having a mandate Bush has to face the onslaught of a rising radical underclass. This may be demonstrated at the upcoming inauguration day when protestors from all over the country and the world will meet in Washington. Heads are going to roll. We should realize that nixon won re-election in a "landslide victory" yet was still forced to resign from office. Bush is a much weaker man than Nixon and far more foolish than the sly Tricky Dick of Watergate. Direct action is needed.
