Racists accidentally hire black DJ for Xmas party..then storm out

FURIOUS BNP racists walked out of their own Christmas party - because the DJ was black.

A member of the far right group blundered by hiring the entertainer over the phone without meeting him first.

Party-going bigots were stunned when he turned out to be black. BNP organiser Bob Garner admitted yesterday: "Everyone was _ a bit alarmed when he turned up with his lights and console. A lot of people weren't happy. I wasn't, really. One or two walked out."

None of the BNP members told the DJ who his audience was - and kept their poisonous beliefs quiet during speeches.

Garner said: "We had to be careful what we said. What are you supposed to do? Tell him to clear off. It was very, very embarrassing." Among the guests at the £12 a head function were BNP London mayoral candidate Julian Leppert and Euro spokesman Chris Roberts.

BNP spokesman Phill Edwards said upset members chose to leave the party in central London instead of insulting the DJ. He sneered: "So what's the problem?"

Labour MP Martin Salter said: "Clearly the Christmas message of goodwill was missing."

I pissed myself laughing when I read that on the front page. There are so many bigoted people in this country it's untrue. I work in a convenience store and we had run out of a type of wine a woman wanted. And she said, out loud in the store, 'It's those fucking p***s down the road', referring to the Indian restaurant a few doors down, even though they never buy their wine from the shop I work at. I chucked her out, and said she could come back when she was prepared to apologise to me, and re-assess her attitudes. She came back a week later and claimed to be sorry and that she understood she was wrong.

(For anyone who can't guess, the censored word is a bigoted term for Pakistani, but I didn't think I'd be allowed to write that in)

Back in the day of Gabber music there used to be this group called Rotterdam Terror Corps, their "lyrics" were racist, titles like "seig heil, kanker zwarte" (fucking black guy!). The irony in this all was that the brain behind this group was a black guy :P

I've met a woman of Pakistani descent with a yorkshire accent and a black man with a glaswegian accent... if you didn't see their faces you'd swear they were white.

It just goes to show how superficial racism is.

I think this shows how pathetic racism is. They couldn't identify the DJs race over the phone, this pretty much confirms that racism is generally made up in, all in the mind.

oh man, a similar thing happened to me.

An acquaintance of mine was discussing gay rights. He went a bit off, saying he thought gays were scum, saying they shouldn't have rights. I done my best to put him down, and he replied with "bloody immigrants" :blink: . I was confused for a moment, wasn't sure if it was a joke...I firstly pointed out that the two issues were separate...and he eventually backed down.

But still, if that's the intelligence of most people, we have a lot of informing to do.
