I honestly though the book to be very intresting untill Snowball was banished from the farm.. then it just became retarted...

Wayhay! We studied this book in Year 7! I dont mind it. I think it portrays some aspects of Soviet Russia quite well. I'd probably reccomend it to people who wanted a book with a big political message.

I don't agree that it is an indispensible classic. It is a good story that should be read but get over it. 1984 is the shit. That book kicks ass.

In my opinion, both Animal Farm and 1984 are reactionary books...which is why schools are still making kids read them.
