I once met a member of the AF-I after the F15 demonstration and his argument against the organisation trying to recruit was that if they did, there may be members who joined who weren't as intelligent or politically developed as the rest of the organisation and therefore an intellectual leadership would develop. =D Brilliant analysis. Do not dismiss this as a rogue member consider that the AF had 4 members at time and that this person had to be a leading member.

I was once a contact for the AF. :) The discussion came up when I asked why the AF don't try and actively recruit members, particularly among young people. Fair enough, 95% of the 'anarchists' they might meet are just some kids who want to fuck authority but there would still be a large number of people interested and that was his response.
