Someone on another message board informed me that by being a member of the Communist Party, I can have my citizenship in the United States revoked. Is this true, or did somebody misinform them at some point?

There could be a hold over law from the days of Mccarthyism, but I'm not aware that they would actively enforce it. The government has ensured such witch-hunts will never have to again fall under the scrutiny of the public, that's why we have the Patriot Act.

sounds like the kind of American bull crap I've come to expect.

I'd never have to worry about it, tho. I'm a party of one, and I refuse to affiliate myself with any political groups whatsoever.

I'm probably be seen as an anarchist (even though I'm not).

I just feel that no party can agree with me 100%, so I look at the individual and give support to whoever matches up the best. This used to be what an independant was. . .but it seems the defintion has evolved over time.
