I just read in the Sunday paper that Subcomandante Marcos is going to coauthor a novel entitled "The Awkward Dead." Marcos and Paco Ignacio Taibo II will write alternating chapters of the book which will first be published in excerpts, in La Jornada, beginning today. It will then be published in book form, to be distributed in Spanish-speaking countries, as well as France and Italy. They haven't yet determined how many chapters the book will be. The book revolves around the characters Detective Hector Belascoaran Shayne (protaganist in many of Taibo's books), and Elias Contreras, a young Indian Zapatista.

Yeah I heard about it too. Will probably become a best seller. But it won't be a cheap best seller.
