so i joined this site on advice from my friend fehr, who incidently is an admin on here... i must say that so far i quite enjoy it. It's great to finally have a place where the left can concretely organize itself from a broad spectrum of ideas.

I'm not directly affiliated with any political movement. Mostly i respect the ideals of marxism and anarcho-syndicalism... all in all, i'm about righteous justice for the masses rather than for the few rich *****es who decide the laws without asking the people they exploit.

I do in fact also believe that capitalism is possibly sustainable, but not with leadership. If the law could be voted on, i would suppot capitalism because the masses would ultimately control the means of justice, and if justice were to include equal relation to the means of production and equal distribution of the wealth for all, then i'm all for it!

I find it sad that nobody realizes today just how oppressive society is, that while you can vote for a president you can't vote for change within the system... this symptomatic change (i.e. by changing monarchs every 4 years) bullshit is exactly that, bullshit. Personally i would love to organize a political party that would run on the basis of an expanded nationwide senate. The basis of such a government would be to hold a referendum on every law currently provided by constitution and decide once and for all what the majority thinks is right.

ANYHOW, that pipe dream aside, glad to meet all you people and i'm proud to call you all comrade... except for a few ignoramusses i met on the opposing ideologies board... they ain't comrades, and they'd be insulted if i refered to them as such... so i'll call them doomed if they aren't rich by age 25...

Hey comrade, given that you know Fehr, I take it you're from Montreal? Have we met?

Regarding yr idea for a sustainable capitalism, it's got one fatal flaw. If everybody is the same in their relation to the means of production, it means what you're advocating isn't capitalism at all - and that's a good thing! ;)

Heck, if you're proposing a method of directly democratic control, and shared ownership of the means of production, what you're suggesting isn't a far cry from most anarchist thought . . . but at the very least, it's got dick all to do with capitalism, and if any capitalist tells you different, well, they're to sort of "capitalist" I don't mind, haha.

Anywhom, welcome aboard.
