I have been selected to be a member of a commission that will make recommendations for trade relations between the United States and Cuba. I have some experience in business but considerably more as a political activist, which is why I have been appointed to this position. The speech i will delivered at the meeting will be heralded in many countries even though I have expressed and demonstrated strong political opinions.
The trade meetings are set to begin Dec 8th.
I am asking that anyone expresses your recommendation for trade with Cuba. You may write a memorandum. Please stay on the following topics
Areas of trade (i.e., heavy machinery, hi-tech, food)
NAFTA membership
Policy for Tourism
Impact on Cuba’s economy (GDP)
Impact on US economy (GDP)
Region(s) of the U.S. that will benefit
Fiscal policy – Private vs. public expenditures
U.S. aid vs. private capital loans
Growth expectations for US
Growth expectations for Cuba
Tariffs
Quotas
Your feelings is to be supported with facts. Please include proper citation.
