Does anybody other than me see a corrolation between the recent movie "Alexander" to "Geroge W" ?

The Greeks ruled the ancient world before the time of Christ, Alexander the Great proved that when he conquered the ancient city of Babylon (mesopotamia)
the center of the Persian empire which stood between the tigris and the eurphates rivers, the same valley that is being conquered right now by Bush and the American Military!

Oh the Glory, God (Zeus) is great!

Sorry but the capital of the Persian empire (the one Alexander defeated that is) was Persepolis, not Babylon.

Babylon hadn't been a power since Cyrus conquered it in 538 BC.

There's things about Alexander that we should put into account. First, he took on the culture of the nations he conquered, such as India and Egypt, among others. This led to intrinsic relations between these cultures.

One thing Alexander did for all cultures was to create the Library of Alexandria, the first known International Library, which contained knowledge of countless things from all over. Now that really does not sound like Bush does it? That same library would be later burned down by some extremist Christians, and Bush is a born again eh?

I didn't see the movie, but did they ever go over that part about Alexander and the Library he made? I think the movies just like to show the violence. I would really check into Alexander and what really happened during those times if I were you.

You've also got to consider that at the time it was either Alexander or just another tyrant.
