I was reading a report in the Guardian recently, which was talking about how a xenophobic Austrailian-American, who was installed by Nixon to get rid of what he called 'the jewish stranglehold on the media' now decides Britain's goverment foriegn policy.
Murdoch dislikes Europe, because of the power of the EU and its threat to his stranglehold of the 'free' press. Blair is afraid to stand up to Murdoch who controls 40% of brtains media and will run an anti-euro campaign, withdraw his support for New Labour, which could cost them the next election. Just wondering if anyone else knows any more about this or has an opinion?
