Did you find out all the secret codes yet? There are a lot on the DVD...but I think you could see them immediatly if you would simply put it in your pc. For example during Starfucker Inc you have to press Enter for a certain amount of time and then the next song will be Starfuckers Inc but then that Marilyn Manson gets on stage and finishes the song and then they both do Marilyn Manson's song called The Beautiful People :D

There is more stuff on it, but I dont know what and where...little secret....CURSE YOU TRENT!!!

Codes? What fucking codes? I never heard about this!

I think the DVD is alright, and some songs like Terrible Lie are better live, because I find the studio version as comparatively quiet.

Tell me more about these codes!

Please... :P

The emotion in Hurt from fans and Reznor had me in tears.

Yeah there's a little slip within the DVD explaining that he wanted it to be as close to being there as possible without actually being there.

damn. That DVD = the win. I just found out about those codes like 3 months ago, and it made me want to watch the whole concert along with the "hidden tracks" many times over again. Couldn't believe how good "Wish" sounded live. probably my favorite track on dvd/cd.

I think I read somewhere that Trent didn't think that the live concert dvd was "nine inch nails at it's best", something about being sick or something. If that's true then I can't imagine what the best would be like.

Im not sure how serious you should take Trent on this...he is a horrible perfectionist, if he made one tiny little mistake (eventhough it wont sound bad) he would throw the whole thing away and start from scratch or something. I mean look how long its taking for the next NIN album to come out after The Fragile ;)

The codes don't work for me :(

yea he is a horrible perfectionist. I'm looking around for news and all that about the next NIN album, and other things coming out.

As of October 28th his diary says "the mixing of the new record has begun with alan moulder. the final track listing is being discussed and determined. the live band is become real. things are in forward motion."

Yeah...and look at the pictures...Jeordie White (AKA Twiggy Ramirez from Marilyn Manson) is on them...did he join NIN?

So the rumour goes. But NIN have always had a changing touring line up.

yea. Reznor has said that NIN albums and NIN live are two totally different things.

New album progress "Bleedthrough" is now "with teeth" I believe before "bleedthrough", a prospective title was "tapeworm" but that was months ago. Release date is (hopefully) going to be March 2005. The Closure dvd is facing legal problems, so that may be a bit longer.

As for the remastered double-disc of "The Downward Spiral", I suggest you guys get your hands on it. If you have a 5.1 surround sound system or a SACD player, definitely get it because the "remastered" disc sounds even better. As for the other disc, it's full of unreleased songs, demos, etc. (I've been listening to straight since friday, when i got it.)
Favorite track at the moment: Burn

SittingBull47

an extensive tour will take place following the release of the new album "with teeth".

PS. a single will (proposed) come out before the full album.

They better do a European tour. If they don't come to Ireland, then I'm travelling abroad to see it.

I tried to get all the hidden things but it won't work for me and my PC DVD drive is on the blink.

Why did they choose that name for their band?

BOZG
26th December 2004, 11:40
I'm not entirely sure though I'm pretty sure that nine inch nails were used for crucifixtions.

SittingBull47
26th December 2004, 17:42
(To Cthenthar)Yea they work.
I like the promos, particularly the one for "things falling apart".

Reznor chose Nine Inch Nails because he wanted a catchy name. NIN is easy for people to recognize. He said there's no meaning behind the name, but people have spread rumors relating the name to the nails used to crucify christ.

The Manson extras worked. And so did "The Day The World Went Away" one did too. But the others are being a ***** at the moment.
