I've been hanging about this site for about a month now after discovering it surfing for Communist/Socialist websites. I've found it very interesting and enlightening and have finally decided to join.
I'm a 15 year old from Penicuik, near Edinburgh in Scotland. I'm stuck in a high school where 99% of the pupils think that politics is all about men in grey suits in Westminister rambling on forever about issues which have nothing to do with them. How wrong they are of course, but it's still frustrating. The ones that are interested though, are mostly Socialist/Liberal so there is some interest. I've made progress myself, about a year ago most knew little of what Socialism/Communism/Anarchism was but now most of them could have a decent go at describing what they are.
My main interests are music (listening and playing bass), reading and just generally enjoying myself with friends. Politically I would describe myself as a liberal communist (my political compass is Economic Left/Right: -9.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -9.59). I hope that inspires a good few conversations.
I look forward to being an active member of this board. If you've read this I welcome you to stay and talk.
