I'm wondering if anyone has any good sources for Government budgets, as to Department expenditure and income, as detailed as possibly but understandable. There are a number of sites with the US Budget but they're all very messy. Legible sites would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for statistics on governments worldwide, preferably ones where comparisons can be made between different nations. Thanks.

try this site
CIA world factbook (http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/)
just select the country and scroll down to economy
Likely it's a bit biased, but it's something.
hope it helps

Thanks guys, I'll check out those links.
Victor,
I use the CIA Factbook quite regularly for quick stats but it's not great for in depth analysis.
