The Grapes of Wrath

Hi everyone. I'm TGOW. I've been reading this message board for some weeks now, and after seeing numerous threads in which my thoughts, knowledge or curiosity could come in handy and possibly enlighten others along with myself, I have decided to join this little club.

I don't really know where I stand on all of this, but, after ready works from Marx, Trotsky, Lenin, Orwell, Engels, Bakunin, Dolgoff, Malatesta, Kropotkin, Goldman, Reed, Castro, Guevara and even a little Stalin, I have come to the conclusion that I am indeed some sort of leftist, if not an an amalgamation of these writers' differing elements.

However, despite my extensive collection of readings I must confess, my knowledge is fleeting at best. These editorials were mostly read for fun and independent study, and were by no means thoroughly explored to their utmost potential. But, as Socrates said "All I know is that I know nothing." So I suppose I may get points there.

The only promise I can make is to possibly inform and be informed.

Thanks for your time,

TGOW

PS: I have never been very conversant in technology, and may not be knowledgeable in how this system works in the begining. So if I mess up, cut me some slack.

I am new too. Just found this board and have not had a chance to read through all the threads, but I am sure some lively debate happens.

I am new to 'alternative' politics after being part of the big two parties for many years. I, too, must admit my knowledge is not up to speed. Thanks ahead of time for your patience regarding my questions.

Pretty good book, your namesake. I'm in the process of an independant study on it for English. PM me if you feel like talkin' Steinbeck ;)
