:(
I've typed out paragraph after paragraph in response to this thread, only to read and trash it every time: I honestly cannot think what to say, so I'll let Waters do the talking for me.
Us, and them
And after all we're only ordinary men.
Me, and you.
God only knows it's not what we would choose to do.
Forward he cried from the rear
and the front rank died.
And the general sat and the lines on the map
moved from side to side.
Black and blue
And who knows which is which and who is who.
Up and down.
But in the end it's only round and round.
Haven't you heard it's a battle of words
The poster bearer cried.
Listen son, said the man with the gun
There's room for you inside.
Solidarity.

In this case, he would have had to make this website regardless of the outcome.

ATP, well if you're ever over in Scotland we'll have to jam it sometime  It's one of the staples that we like to sit and play. Sounds great all acoustic, with an old hammond organ in the back :D

"We're Not Sorry" (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1273573/posts)
Well, i must admit they do well to travel from the stereotypical image of Bush supporters [/Sarcasm]

youŽll have to jam it as i can barely even strum on a guitar. fuck, iŽll sing it though. if i ever get across the atlantic. university of pittsburgh is going to use up LOTS of funds the first year. i fucked up in my last year of high school, so the fee is going to be circa 20k. iŽll work my ass off though and get scholarships for the rest. then iŽll do a world tour and hear some scottish floyd.
that weŽre not sorry stuff is icky. some people are so self-assured. and them getting their way doesnŽt help at all.

If theres room for a drummer I'd come. Maybe. Anyways, I'm sick of people claiming they are "blue" (when they are democrats, because the states where the majority of the citizens are democrats are considered "blue" in the media) and republicans as red, when we all know that the rep. are the true blue.
Fuck the american politics. Most of the people on that site is angry at Bush because he lets the soldiers fight longer. Hell, Kerry also wanted to let the soldiers keep on fighting. It isn't only the soldiers who we should pity, but workers and the lower class! But as soon as anyone mentions labour conditions or "-class" in the US you get stampled as an evil stalinist, even by democrats and so called "liberals."
Good thing they haven't forgotten about THE WORLD all together though.

They should be apologizing for voting for Kerry.
I mean, how can they apologize for other people's actions - in this case, other people voting for Bush? It's like that bizarre business of saying "we" when one means the U.S. government.
