Subhumans are awesome. They played a show around here with all these other punk bands recently but I missed it. :( Which other bands were they playing with? That's cool they were selling books by AK press, what kind of stuff did they have for sale?

They played with Causitc Christ (thrash) and 7 Crowns (hXc)

Lots of stuff, the Anarchist Yellow Pages, some stuff by Abby Hoffman, flyers, magazines, Arundati Roy (sp?) and fuck of a lot more.

Yeah Citizen Fish did/do the ska punk thing, the Subhumans are punk and Culture Shock were kind of a reggae band.

Yeah, I don't remember the humans ever playing any ska stuff. Citizen Fish did of course.

I've never really listened to Culture Shock, I guess it kind of slipped my mind. I'm going to have to do that.

Religious Wars is one of my favorite albums. I was pleasantly surprised when they came out with that live album earlier this year. Are they touring at all in the US?
