On November 16 a coalition of various progressive groups will be holding a rally on the first day of sitting of the federal parliament at the parliament in Canberra to let them know what issues we want addressed.
If anyone has more info, by all means post it.
There are buses running from Sydney and Melbourne going to Canberra. I've heard of buses from else too. I'm coming from Tassie aswell!
I call all Ausssies to come to this event, and thus it could be a great opportunity to meet. PM me or post here if you are interested.

Yeah, I'll be in Canberra from Monday morning, helping to drum up some local support in preparation for the big day. There is also an event at the Aboriginal Tent Embassy from midday on Monday.
See you all there (even if I don't know what you look like....)
Also, despite miserable weather and VERY short notice, between 150-200 people turned out for the Fallujah protest and march this arvo (including half a dozen very bedraggled wanna-be-fascists who appeared to be protecting the US Consulate from our sodden placards).
NEXT ACTION:
RALLY FOR THE PEOPLE OF FALLUJAH: Stop The Slaughter Of Civilians!
Once again the US-led Coalition forces have commenced an attack on the Iraqi city of Fallujah, using their trademark tactic of 'overwhelming force'. Despite the illegality of the offensive under the Geneva Convention, the US is steadily destroying lives, property, and a whole culture in it quest to brutally force all Iraqi people into submission.
Please join Stop The War Coalition, Lebanese Muslims Association and others in condemning the violence of the Bush regime, and the criminal complicity of the Australian government.
Representatives from various concerned groups will speak.
The People of Fallujah need your help!
12pm Saturday November 20,
U.S. Consulate, Martin Place, Sydney (near Castlereagh St.)

Well, to help any Che-Livers who come, I have a slight tan, long black dreads, and will where my Dubya 'International Terrorist' shirt for the rally.
See you there! :)

That was one awesome protest. Alot of red flags eh?
Though it wasn't technically a big rally, I liked how a large amount of the protesters were pretty radical. Afterall, four buses from Melbourne and three from Sydney were mostly made up of committed reds. Who else would be so committed to travel so far? Like me!
How was your day chebol? Did you see me?
