Out of curiousity has anyone else received such a stupid arguement? What was your responses? I said because it always screws the workers(of course, with different wording), but I am curious as to what others say...

Because it is not morally acceptable for some people to live in wealth while others live in poverty, and the only difference is that one was born into a wealthy family and the other born into a poor family.

Because all humans are equally deserving of respect and dignity. All humans are equally deserving of the right to life.

"Why do you hate class society"?

Because it was a "historical inevitability".

I probably would have been fine with it had I been raised at the heights rather than the depths.

Many years ago, I was in a medium-sized airport late one evening waiting for a "red-eye" flight. As I was checking in, a dozen or so young people entered the terminal in high spirits...one could not help but overhear their enthusiastic conversation.

"Come on, let's go to Paris," said one young lady.

"Rome, Rome, Rome!", responded a young gentleman.

And so their good-natured argument proceeded...they were evidently just flying around at random, having a good time.

I walked off to the boarding gate for my flight, reflecting upon the fact that they would collectively spend more in a few days than I would earn in the next decade.

The rich really are "very different from us".

Agreed, but what would you say about people who made their own riches? People who have went from rags to riches? In a communist state, this would not be possible, and arguably this would take away someones rights, would it not?? People have the right to make their own way in the world, do they not? if this means exploiting others or by anyother means, surly this is just survivel? well unless they get too rich, but they could still argue that thay are just catering for the survival of their family for years to come.

I'm not saying I agree with capitalism in anyway. I would just like to know the right answer to this question.

Thankyou.

Firstly, a "communist state" is nonsence because communism is stateless and marketless society. So none could become a rich man in communist society (by definition).
Would this take away someone rights? No, because "to live under communist relations in communist society" would be voluntary choice of anyone.

The right answer to this question logically come from your question: yes, people have the right to make their own way in the world including if this means exploiting others (under the stipulation that the exploited people would do this voluntarily to survival). But "freedom" is the freedom of choice and people must have an alternative so a communist sector of economy (a commune, an association of the group of communes) must be created and the exploited people may be given a chance to choice between the capitalist or communist sectors of the State but the State organized especially, by proletarian (under dictatorship of the proletariat). The dictatorship of the proletariat could give a guaranty to stop monopolization of capitalist sector or to save treasures of the soil from private property.

Note. The capitalist economic sector must consist of private property and the State property.

class society is bollocks because (using an english example since im english) the queen lives in a huge fuck-off palace and is waited on night and day and as far as i can see she has done bugger all for it. on the other hand you have got thousands of people in africa etc... who work every day of their lives to receive the equivalent of 50 english pence (about 35 cents if youre american). fair?? >=(

I think it's funny how the US Repukelican party is trying to abolish the death tax all together. They say it's affected farmers who go out of business. When in actuality no farms have ever gone under from the taxation, and it only affects farms worth 2 million dollars or more. There was a proposal sent by a democrat suggesting that anyone who has over (I'm pretty sure the number was something rediculous) like 10 million dollars (I can't remember the exact number). Of course the repubelicans shot it down. They claim they get taxed when they work, why get taxed when they die. But the majority of the fortunes are made, untaxed, in investments. So they're just trying to support long ties of family aristocracy. That's part of the reason why I hate class society. THe others, I think were listed at some point.
