I was wondering if there have been any elections in Cuba, in the time that Castro has been in power.

Yes, there have been elections in the Cuba. Local elections are also being held frequently.

So far as I know there have been no major elections in the bourgois sense, but that is not to say Castro is totally undemocratic. To my knowledge the Cuban political system is run as such:
Workers in the factories/farms etc. nominate one or more of their number to reprsent them in a kind of council, and it is from the authority of this council that Castro retains his power. I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me can explain things further, but that's roughly how it works...
